If you have purchased a ready-made piece from our eBay store, Etsy shop, or website, you may return it within fourteen days of receiving it, provided it has not been used and is in its original condition.
To return a piece: Email hello@persalondon.co.uk with your order number and a brief note on why you are returning it. We will confirm and give you the return address. Please use a tracked service — we are not responsible for returns lost in transit.
Once the piece is received and inspected, we will issue a full refund of the purchase price within five working days. We do not refund original postage costs unless the item was faulty or incorrectly described.
Pieces that have been personalised with a name, initials, or other customisation are made specifically for you and cannot be returned unless they are faulty or incorrectly made. If the personalisation is wrong — wrong name, wrong colour, wrong size — we will remake it at no charge. Please check your order confirmation carefully before it is processed.
Bespoke pieces are made to your specification. They are not returnable unless they are faulty or materially different from what was agreed. Because of this, we ask you to approve the design in writing before we begin. Once approved and the deposit paid, production starts.
We stand behind what we make. Our repair policy is straightforward:
If your piece breaks from normal use within twelve months of purchase, we repair it free of charge. This covers stitching, clasp failure, and structural faults. It does not cover damage from misuse, water saturation, or accidental impact.
After twelve months, repairs are charged at cost — materials plus time. We will always quote before starting work. Most repairs are between £10 and £35.
To request a repair: Email us a photograph of the damage and your certificate code (from your order confirmation or the inner studio tag). We will assess and confirm the repair path within two working days.

We respond within two working days with a return address or repair quote.
Refund within five working days of receiving the return. Repairs quoted and started on agreement.
If a piece arrives damaged or materially different from how it was described, we will offer a full refund or replacement at no cost to you, including return postage. Please photograph the damage and email us within 48 hours of receiving the piece.
Many returns and repairs can be prevented with basic leather care. We recommend:
Good leather improves with age. With basic care, a Persa London piece should last a decade or more.
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. You always have the right to reject a faulty item within 30 days of purchase for a full refund, and the right to repair, replacement, or a price reduction for faults that appear within six years (five in Scotland).
